Nicola Scardigno
Nicola Scardigno is an architect, doctor of research in architectural design and lecturer of the course of “Building Types and Urban Morphologies” at dICAR (Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture) of the Polytechnic of Bari. He is member of ISUFitaly and of the editorial board of the magazine U+D urbanform and design. He won research scholarship with international organizations (ISUF International) and University (University of Wales). He participates in design competitions, national and international conferences and seminars, and conducts research on topics concerning the urban and landscape morphology. On the basis of this interest, he focuses the design activity, both didactic and professional, and the writings that through the method of “reading and design” investigate the built reality at different scales.
