Giuseppe Strappa
Giuseppe Strappa is a senior professor at the Sapienza University of Rome. He taught Urban Design and Urban Morphology in several universities in Italy and abroad. He was responsible for many national and international research (including Sapienza coordinator for Epum, European research on Urban Morphology teaching). He was director of the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture at the Polytechnic of Bari, director of the Doctoral School in Architecture and member of the Sapienza University board for doctorates, director of the LPA Laboratory Reading and Architectural Design. He is President of Isufitaly, Council member of Isuf International, director of t U + D (Urban form and Design) international Journal, member of the Urban Morphology journal editorial board, and director of the “Lettura e Progetto” book series for the Franco Angeli publisher. He is member of the Executive committee and regional Network coordinator of Isuf. He is the author of many books on urban morphology and architectural design, collaborates with several architectural magazines, and leads national newspapers. As an architect, he obtained awards in many international competitions and has built several important works. |
