Amedeo Schiattarella
Arch. Amedeo Schiattarella, born in Rome on 4 June 1943 and graduated in Architecture in 1969 at the La Sapienza University of Rome, has been a member of the Order of Architects of Rome and Province since 1970. In 1989 he founded Studio Schiattarella, which became in 2009 Schiattarella e Associati of which he is President and which, over the last 15 years, has completed more than 100 projects in Europe, East Asia and the Middle East. Founder of the Casa dell’Architettura in Rome, he is currently President of the International Academy of Architecture and of InArch Lazio. From 1999 to 2013 he was President of the Order of Architects of Rome and the Province. In 2005 he was awarded the title of Officier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the Minister of Culture of the French Republic. In 2018 he won the “100 Italian Excellence” award as the best Italian architect of the year. His works have been published by numerous national and international magazines, receiving important awards (Iconic Award, American Architecture Prize) and have been created not only in Italy but also in South Korea, Saudi Arabia and Japan. |
